Tribute to Karabakh Horses
Karabakh is a fast and agile horse breed known for its speed in mountainous terrains. It is one of the oldest horse breeds. Many conquerers and travellers have ridden on Karabakh horses. They are used for horse racing. However, they are endangered today and according to an estimate there are only 120 Karabakh horses.
At Buzkash, we pay tribute to the beautiful horse breed that is endangered today, and thus we have named our traditional footwear as Karabakh to serve as a reminder to acknowledge the beauty of Karabakh.
Fairtrade changes society – Buzkash ensures that elderly craftsmen stay employed, and receive fair salary for their magnificent craftsmanship
